Victorian Mahogany Pocket Watch Holder Display Longcase With Bovine Bone Inlay

  
Here we have a Victorian period Pocket Watch display case in the form of a Longcase Clock Case. This is very skillfully made, attention to detail is superb. This has Bovine Bone Inlaid sections as well as other wooden inlay.

The central finial to the hood is not present, also the leather Pocket watch support needs replacing. You could still pack some foam or something behind the Pocket Watch to use as is. Ideally a 50mm Pocket Watch would display best, the diameter of the opening hole is 4.7cm.

Other than the Finials the Case is in good condition, all inlay is present and this is a solid piece. The bottom left Foot does have a piece broken off and not present, please inspect photographs. All Feet and finials could easily be replaced so that everything matches but still nice as is. The closing catch for the Door is present and holds closed firmly, hinges are in good order. Total height 28cm, width at base 12cm, width at top 8cm, depth at base 9.5cm, depth at top 5.5cm.
