Every once in a while something will really speak to me and I will keep it.... Just as a care taker for a while until the next person can fall in love with it. Well apparently according to my wife I "love" too many watches. I have no idea why I feel the need to feed my passion for watches as much as I do. Here are some specifics about this offering.

Model: Pocket watch movement married to a wrist watch case. This is an interesting model as it has a dial for seconds a sub dial also for minutes and an hour hand. Era: The pocket watch movement is from the 1920s the dial and case is contemporary. Running Condition: This watch runs. That has been a couple years.

Case Dimensions including lugs, but not including crown: 56mm X 48mm. Band Composition: Leather with stainless steel buckle. Useable Length: This watch and band combination can work for wrists up to 8 1/2 inches in circumference. Of course this can easily be changed by changing out the watch band. Condition/Notes: This big bold watch makes a statement!

It also has a unique dial configuration. These watches are growing in popularity. The service history of this watch is unknown to me unless I state otherwise. Therefore you should expect to service this watch if you are a responsible collector. Often times these watches have been forgotten in a jewelers desk or in a back room for 30 plus years. I like to save them from that demise and get them back into the hands of collectors. It doesn't take very long for old gummy oil to stop a movement from running (many times just a week or so) or even worse if the oil is dried out it might not take too long for the watch to grind itself up inside. This is not specific to my watches, but to all that have not been serviced in the last few years.

For this reason we only wind a watch a few turns to verify if it will go through the paces, so please understand I can only tell you if the watch is running here.
